This Refund Policy is written for a digital AI software and services business. Please have it reviewed for your registered business jurisdiction and payment processor before launch.
1. Overview
TheBrainStak provides digital AI products, developer workflows, subscriptions, templates, and related services. Because access to digital services may begin immediately after purchase, payments are generally non-refundable except as described in this policy, shown at checkout, required by law, or agreed in writing by TheBrainStak.
2. Refund Eligibility
You may request a refund if you were charged by mistake, experienced duplicate billing, were unable to access a paid service due to an issue caused by TheBrainStak, or qualify for a refund under applicable consumer protection law. Refund requests are reviewed case by case.
3. Accidental Purchases
For accidental purchases or unintended renewals, contact us within 14 days of the charge. We may ask you to verify the account, payment method, transaction date, invoice number, and email address associated with the purchase.
4. Subscriptions
Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period. If a refund is approved, we may revoke access to the paid plan, credits, templates, downloads, or premium features connected to the refunded payment.
5. Non-Refundable Items
Unless required by law or stated otherwise at checkout, custom development, consulting, implementation work, completed onboarding, discounted promotional purchases, consumed usage credits, and downloadable digital products are non-refundable once delivered or substantially used.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email billing@thebrainstak.com from the email address connected to your purchase. Include your name, account email, transaction date, invoice or receipt number if available, the plan or product purchased, and the reason for your request.
7. Processing Time
If your refund is approved, we will submit it to the payment processor promptly. Refunds commonly take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement, but timing depends on your bank, card issuer, payment provider, and region.
8. App Stores and Third-Party Channels
If you purchased through a third-party marketplace, app store, reseller, or payment platform, the refund may need to be requested through that provider. Their own refund rules and review timelines may apply.
9. Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a chargeback so we can investigate and resolve the issue quickly. If a chargeback is filed, we may provide order records, account activity, delivery confirmations, support messages, cancellation history, and refund decisions to the payment provider.
